Blunham angling club news & events section.

	There will be a work party at Halls Pit on Sunday 15^th November to carry out some essential maintenance works. Please note that the lake will be closed while the work is taking place. Anybody that wishes to help out will be most welcome please contact Alan Gill on 07799 104402 for more information.

	October 2009 With the onset of autumn the fishing has slowed on the clubs lakes although some carp are being caught from Dovecote Lake. With the clubs river venues in need of a good rain to clear the dying weed and leaves catches have been sporadic but Willington River has been producing some good catches of Perch and a few Roach. The new track to Dovecote Lake is now finished, this can be accessed from Willington village by driving past the Church and Dovecote and continuing straight on and through the gate at the end of the roadway which has the club padlock on and then through the second gate across the sheep field. Would members please note there is no parking along this new path, tackle can be dropped off and cars left in the car parking area at the corner of the lake.
