Blunham angling club offers the best range and diversity of local club waters in the area from still waters to rivers. We currently have 4 lakes which are stocked with quality carp bream and tench, and stretches of the Great Ouse and Ivel which produce good specimen fish. The wash pit located on our Willington complex is ideal for the match and pleasure angler alike, producing a good range of silver fish from carp and specimen sized perch to over 3 pound. The dovecote lake also on the Willington complex offers the specimen angler carp angler Carp over 26 LB bream over 12 pound, quality Rudd and tench. Halls pit has produces numerous carp over 30 pound and many 25 pound plus. Bream over 12 pound and good Tench and pike over 20 pound.  Barford Lake has produced carp to over 30 pound, numerous bream over 12 pound and Tench over 9 pound. Barford lake is also known to produce pike up to 29 pound. A prolific big fish water which is a quiet and tranquil place to spend either a day session or a multi night session. River Ivel at Blunham a beautiful stretch of class A fishery has regularly produced Barbel over 10 pound and so far the biggest of 16 LB 04 oz. Quality Chub and roach and pike over 20 pound also a good number of carp some to over 20 pound. The river Great Ouse at Willington, with just over a mile of unspoiled stretch of the river Ouse this is a favourite water for the match angler has a good head of Roach and other silver fish. Chub to over 6 pound and quality bream. River great Ouse at Great Barford is a well known prolific stretch for bagging up for large nets of Chub and other silver fish, again another beautiful unspoiled stretch of the river Ouse, this stretch contains some good carp to over 20 pound. River Great Ouse Oakley one of the prettiest parts of the upper Ouse two fantastic stretches incorporating a cracking weir pool. All species present here carp, Barbel and silver fish, one of the most prolific areas of the Ouse for Chub. The club is affiliated with the IPA ( Ivel protection association ) which gives you the chance to fish an additional 5 miles of this lovely class A river which is producing some of the biggest Barbel in the country, fish coming out to 17 pound . Many quality bags of roach and other silver fish and chub again to over 6lb.
