BLUNHAM & DISTRICT ANGLING CLUB

The Willington complex consists of the Dovecote Lake, the Washpit and 2000 yds of river.

The Dovecote Lake is a mixed fishery with Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch and Pike.Over the last few seasonst he club has stocked over 350 Carp into the lake with the majority being the famous Dinks/Leney crosses from Priory Fisheries. These fish have a good growth rate and are stunning looking fish. These fish will provide good sport for many years to come. The lake has good access and is open all year.
The Washpit is a good summer fishery with large numbers of Roach, Rudd, Carp, Perch and a few Crucians. It is a very weedy water and dragging swims works well. A good venue for young anglers. Open all year.

The river stretch is approx 2000 yds  with approx 70 pegs. There is a good head of Chub, Bream, Roach, Perch and Pike. There is good access with a hard track running alongside the river and ample parking
