BLUNHAM & DISTRICT ANGLING CLUB

The Willington complex consists of the Dovecote Lake, the Washpit, Bombhole Pit,Hitchcoks Lake, Daisleys Lake  and 2000 yds of river.

The Dovecote Lake is a mixed fishery with Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch and Pike.Over the last few seasonst he club has stocked over 350 Carp into the lake with the majority being the famous Dinks/Leney crosses from Priory Fisheries. These fish have  grown on in the last 14 years and now there is a good number of fish of over 20lbs and also quite a few have now grown to over 30lbs with a few over 40lbs .The lake has good access and is open all year.
Hithcocks Lake has had a stocking of over300 Priory fisheries Carp to supplement the existing stock and these are growing well and are now coming out at over 20lbs. There are also known to be Roach, Tench, Pike and Perch present.
Daisleys Lake has been stocked with a number of roach, rudd, crucians, tench and skimmers.

The Washpit is a good summer fishery with large numbers of Roach, Rudd, Carp, Perch and a few Crucians. It is a very weedy water and dragging swims works well. A good venue for young anglers. Open all year.

The Bombhole Pit is a small water stocked with small Carp, Rudd, Roach, Crucians, Tench andPerch.

The river stretch is over 2000 yds long and has good access with parking behind a number of pegs. There are good numbers of Roach, Chub, Perch, Dace and Bleak present. Bream, Tench, Pike and Carp also are caught along this stretch.
