43 Anglers fished the annual Bedford Hospitals Cup on the Gt Ouse at Willington Bedfordshire. The match sponsored by Blunham Angling Club and Vauxhall Angling Club saw some challenging fishing. However the river did not disappoint and a very close top 3 weights made it a very even contest. Tony Sinfield won once again 15lbs 9oz with Paul Reynolds second 14lb 14oz and Bill Beehan third with 14lbs. The match in its 90th year has been run every year since 1936 in aid of the Bedford Hospital raised £735 this year.
